1. Information We Collect

When you connect a brokerage account to Transparent Knowledge, we collect your account balance, equity, positions, and trade history for the purpose of displaying performance analytics in PropTrack. We do not store your brokerage username or password — authentication tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and stored securely in our cloud database.

2. How We Use Your Information

Account data is used solely to provide you with performance tracking, journal features, and analytics within the Transparent Knowledge platform. We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal or financial data to third parties, except as described in Section 3 below.

3. Brokerage Connections via SnapTrade

Transparent Knowledge uses SnapTrade as a third-party data processor to facilitate secure, read-only connections to your brokerage accounts. When you connect a broker through the PropTrack Integrations page, your credentials are transmitted to and stored by SnapTrade — they are never stored directly by Transparent Knowledge.

SnapTrade is bound by its own privacy policy, which you can review at snaptrade.com/privacy-policy. All connections are read-only: Transparent Knowledge cannot place, modify, or cancel orders in your brokerage account.

You may disconnect any brokerage account at any time from the PropTrack settings page. Disconnecting removes our access to your account data immediately.

4. Market Data

Any market data retrieved via your brokerage connection is used solely to provide analytics to your individual account. Your account data and market data are never aggregated, combined with other users' data, or shared with third parties for any purpose other than rendering your personal dashboard.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted token storage, HTTPS-only communication, and access controls. No security system is impenetrable, and we encourage users to use strong passwords and enable two-factor authentication on all connected accounts.

6. Your Data Rights

You have the right to:

• Disconnect any brokerage account at any time from within PropTrack settings.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us.
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Withdraw consent to data processing at any time by closing your account.

7. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all brokerage credentials and personal data are deleted within 30 days.
